BEES = We're in the Honey!
The Hives are here, the Bees have now arrived!
Courtesy of Eddie and Nikki, our professional bee keepers and apiary mentors, a rescued swarm of native black bees were successfully delivered on Monday 4th June. Since that start, a second swarm has been introduced and we are pleased to have identified two Queens (Elizabeth and Mary). Eddie and Nikki talked about and demonstrated Bee keeping at Open Farm Sunday on 17th June, with lots of positive feedback and interest. |
